Due to the current CSU financial situation, the Cesar Chavez Student Center and the Rack-N-Cue are unable to sponsor travel expenses for the top three competitors for the year 2009-2010.
In the past the Cesar Chavez Student Center and the Rack-N-Cue have been able to provide transportation and accommodations to the top representatives of San Francisco State University to the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) regional and national tournaments. The following table details the average costs for a regional tournament:

The table does not include extra costs such as school qualifying tournaments and the manager’s per diem.
The Rack-N-Cue would still like to encourage participation and will still hold a school wide qualifying tournament. We also are looking into providing registration fee assistance to the finalists of the school qualifier.
The Rack-N-Cue manager has considered a number of alternatives, however at this time it will be the responsibility of interested participants to take a proactive role in upholding the San Francisco State University legacy.
